A Series: Improving Total Lifetime Value of Data Centers through Power Usage Efficiency (PUE) Reduction
Managing cooling and power efficiencies has been challenging for data center designers for quite some time. This is due to the significant loads required for the centers to operate effectively. IT equipment manufactured today is substantially smaller and faster, but more importantly to designers, the power density of the system is high, therefore generating significant excess heat. Temperature increases in data centers are a risk to reliability.
Technology is rapidly changing how an expansive segment of businesses are leveraging IT solutions to be more efficient and effective. Conversely, data center growth statistics are projecting significant increases per year for the foreseeable future.
Cloud service infrastructure, either centralized or distributed, is required for the growing demand and the information that it generates. To sustain this growth trajectory, more data centers are required.
To defend against physical attack where the grid is vulnerable to disruption, Avail introduced ArmArrest™ with multiple design options for various applications including data centers, power distribution centers, control centers, and transmission stations.
After many months of design and testing, we are excited to announce the arrival of the RuggedSpec II™ Enclosures.
At Avail, engineers, skilled electricians, and industry experts come together to create custom-built enclosures for sensitive, and oftentimes expensive, equipment across a wide range of industries.
From faster installation to reduced project costs, there are many reasons to protect your equipment with a factory-built solution from Avail!
