A Series: Improving Total Lifetime Value of Data Centers through Power Usage Efficiency (PUE) Reduction
Managing cooling and power efficiencies has been challenging for data center designers for quite some time. This is due to the significant loads required for the centers to operate effectively. IT equipment manufactured today is substantially smaller and faster, but more importantly to designers, the power density of the system is high, therefore generating significant excess heat. Temperature increases in data centers are a risk to reliability.
Technology is rapidly changing how an expansive segment of businesses are leveraging IT solutions to be more efficient and effective. Conversely, data center growth statistics are projecting significant increases per year for the foreseeable future.
Cloud service infrastructure, either centralized or distributed, is required for the growing demand and the information that it generates. To sustain this growth trajectory, more data centers are required.
To defend against physical attack where the grid is vulnerable to disruption, Avail introduced ArmArrest™ with multiple design options for various applications including data centers, power distribution centers, control centers, and transmission stations.
After many months of design and testing, we are excited to announce the arrival of the RuggedSpec II™ Enclosures.
Renewable energy is fast becoming a prominent part of the U.S. energy capacity mix. Avail Infrastructure Solutions is at the forefront of this ever-growing technology, with solutions to support long-term operations.
Whether the nozzles needs to be repaired emergently or replaced in a planned turnaround, WSI has unparalleled innovative leadership in weld metal overlay technology backed by proven results.
Unifuse HF40™ Erosion Resistant Overlay for Circulating Fluidized Bed Boilers – The Weldable Hardfacing
WSI’s proprietary HF40™ overlay is a Fe-Cr-C-Zr hardfacing alloy with approximately 20% chromium (Cr) that provides exceptional resistance to erosion and wear as well as erosion/corrosion attack.
Avail Infrastructure Solutions is at the forefront of renewable energy, with solutions to support growing investments across the grid
The shift towards renewable energy requires upgrades to the generation, transmission, and distribution of green energy. Avail is ideally positioned to take advantage of this renewable secular growth trend.
WSI can develop code acceptable corrosion resistant overlay (CRO) repair strategy with machine applied weld deposit to upgrade metallurgies in lieu of plate replacements, sheet lining, window cut outs in the vessel, or high dilution manual weld deposits.
Since its inception, RIG-A-LITE’s SAF series has upheld a reputation as the industry’s leading choice for lighting industrial and hazardous environments. With the all-new HZALJ LED luminaire, we’re taking durability, performance, efficiency and installation flexibility to an even higher level.
Beginning in the early 1990’s, WSI initiated the first Structural Weld Overlay’s (SWOL) in coke drums. With aid from partners in the industry, SWOL process was developed as an engineered repair method utilizing advanced techniques in laser mapping, fatigue analysis, and field machine welded execution.
