Class 1 Division 1 Lighting
Class I Division 1 lighting (C1D1) is crucial for hazardous environments with flammable gases, vapors, or liquids. Engineered to be explosion proof lighting, these durable fixtures prevent ignitions and ensure safety. Class I Division 1 lighting is designed for areas where explosive conditions are always present, either continuously or periodically.
RIG-A-LITE lighting fixtures are classified according to National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. For international projects, these classifications align with IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) Zones, ensuring compatibility and safety: Class I Division 1 (NEC) is equivalent to Zone 0 and Zone 1 (IEC).
